Project Description

Through this initiative, we are creating comprehensive educational and professional development pathways for both new and existing professionals in the forest health and natural resource sectors. Central to this effort is the formalization of our internal professional development curriculum, ensuring that participants receive consistent, high-quality training aligned with the evolving needs of forest management, ecological restoration, and climate resilience.

In partnership with educational institutions and workforce agencies across Sierra Nevada counties, we will collaborate to create clear pathways from education to employment. These partnerships will allow us to better support students, recent graduates, and transitioning workers as they prepare for careers that are critical to the health of Sierra Nevada’s forests and communities.
