Governing Council Votes to Award Catalyst Funding to 40 Projects
Following more than a year of community engagement, the creation of the regional Strategic Plan, and an enthusiastic response to the Catalyst RFP that garnered 47 project applicants vying for $9M in available funding, the Sierra Jobs First Governing Council finalized its vote March 21 to award funding to 40 projects across the Sierra region.
To read the list of awarded projects, visit the Sierra Jobs First blog.
The next steps for the team and awarded projects are to complete the contracting process and work together, along with Industry Sector Coordinators, to see the projects through to completion.
Industry Sector Coordinators will also continue working with both awarded and not-awarded projects to identify other sources of funding over the coming months.
