The Mammoth Lakes Trails and Public Access Foundation (MLTPA) and Redwood Region RISE, with support from California Jobs First, are hosting a free (no charge) in-person “Recreation and Tourism Symposium of Practice” event in Sacramento on April 23rd.
This full-day facilitated session will be held at the California Natural Resources building and will focus on capturing lessons learned from the Catalyst phase of California Jobs First in our respective regions.
We’ll focus on collectively identifying the barriers to success for any projects – whether Catalyst projects or independently developed – to assist with drafting recommendations to the state for integrating the implementation of projects developed through regional collaborations under California Jobs First into agency funding programs.
Event Date & Time: Thursday, April 23rd, 2026 – 9:00 am – 4:15 pm
Event Location: CRNA Building 715 P St, Sacramento, CA 95814
This meeting will be a small and focused gathering of people directly invested and involved in this work to foster meaningful conversation and collaboration. While sharing with equally invested colleagues is encouraged, please note this is not a broadly public event.
