Project Description
The Pathways to Prosperity Initiative is a collaborative effort to create vibrant, connected communities across the Sierra region by planning and advancing trails, multimodal routes, and recreation enhancements.
Rooted in a shared vision of healthy, thriving towns, the initiative brings together local governments, organizations, and residents to design infrastructure that supports active lifestyles, boosts local economies, and strengthens connections between people and places.
By improving safety, accessibility, and connectivity, Pathways to Prosperity aims to link neighborhoods, small businesses, parks, and cultural destinations. The result will be a network of pathways that foster outdoor recreation, encourage tourism, and enhance quality of life—creating lasting benefits for residents today and for generations to come, while preserving the natural beauty and character of our region.
