With 47 project applicants having submitted RFPs for Catalyst funding, the assessment and voting process has changed slightly to enable efficiency in the assessment process. Notably, the public Pitch Session originally slated for February has been canceled. Project applicants will be contacted as needed if the Governing Council requests more details.
- January 9: On or before January 9, the Sierra Jobs First team will notify projects whether they are moving on to be voted on by the Governing Council. (Industry Sector Coordinators will work with projects that do not fit the Sierra Jobs First or Catalyst funding criteria to identify more suitable funding opportunities)
- February 12: Governing Council Onboarding meeting to review Catalyst priorities and criteria, voting process, best practices, and materials
- February 13 – March 14 – Governing Council to receive all applications for review and pre-vote by virtual ballot
- March 21 – Governing Council meeting (virtual, open to the public) to discuss and finalize vote
- March 25-26 – Award announcements
- April – May – Contract process
Please note, these dates are subject to change. Any changes will be reflected on the calendar page of the Sierra Jobs First website and/or emailed to project applicants and the Collaborative.
