A packed house turned out for the grand opening of the Eastern Sierra Business Resource Center (BRC), located at 269 N. Main Street in Bishop, at an evening reception on December 10th.
Among the crowd of honored guests and community supporters was Senator Alvarado-Gil, who issued an official proclamation celebrating the hard work of all the dedicated organizations that contributed to the BRC’s opening, and Bishop Mayor, Karen Kong, plus several Inyo and Mono county elected officials.
The BRC also hosted members of the local media, who will play a critical role in getting the word out to the broader community about the services the center will provide. Read about the grand opening in the Inyo Register and Mammoth Times, or in the December 6 print edition of The Sheet.
This years-in-the-making, collaborative effort will be a one-stop location offering business development services and technical assistance, convening services, small business innovation and incubation services, and community development programming to communities, nonprofits, and businesses in the Eastern Sierra. We look forward to releasing a full calendar of programming in January to support the region’s entrepreneurship ecosystems.
