About the Governing Council & Subcommittees
Who makes up the Sierra Jobs First Collaborative?
Formerly known as the HRTC, the Governing Council is the decision-making body of the Sierra Jobs First Collaborative. In additional to the Governing Council; the Collaborative is also comprised of a tribal cohort, three Subcommittees (Project Identification, Local Government, and Business, Workforce & Education) that provide data, feedback, and inform the Council on voting decisions; industry-specific working groups; and county cohorts.

About the Sierra Jobs First Governing Council:
The primary purpose of the Governing Council is to ensure the regional economic development plans, strategies, and projects funded by California Jobs First reflects the priorities and needs of residents, especially historically marginalized communities, and supports the region’s transition to a community-led, climate-forward economy accessible by all.
