Alpine, Mono, and Inyo Counties are inviting residents, business owners, recreation users, and stakeholders to participate in an upcoming series of public workshops focused on shaping the future of outdoor recreation across the Eastern Sierra.
The Tri-County Economic Impact Analysis of Recreation, a Sierra Jobs FIrst Catalyst project, is a collaborative regional effort designed to better understand how outdoor recreation supports local economies, communities, and natural resources. Community input will play a critical role in guiding future planning, investment, and policy decisions.
These interactive 90-minute hybrid workshops will provide participants with the opportunity to learn about the project’s progress, review preliminary findings, and engage in discussions about recreation priorities, opportunities, and challenges across the region.
This is a unique opportunity for community members to directly influence the future of recreation in our region. Whether you live here, work here, or recreate here, your voice is essential to ensuring a resilient and sustainable recreation economy.
